Honey Explainer Video

I produced the first official Honey Explainer video focusing on the core value proposition with an evergreen tone. In collaboration with a motion graphic designer and art director, I provided a script copy, storyboarding, art direction, and product UI. The video to date has over 25M views.

Explanatory Animations

To help users understand Honey at various touchpoints, I created a series of explanatory animations with 3 different goals: to show users product UI in context, to explain Honey's core features, and to answer commonly asked questions with helpful tips. The assets were leveraged across a variety of outbound and inbound efforts including emails, explainer videos, ads, and the Honey website.

Extension Redesign

Clicking "apply coupons" in the extension is the first and most important touchpoint for a Honey user but shoppers were not engaging with enough frequency. I led the effort to improve usage through iterative creation and testing of the extension graphics. 

We learned that a branded character graphic with subtle but emotive animation performed better than complex static graphics. 

The result became, Coiny, a pervasive character through the Honey product providing humor and delight to users at key moments.
